| Just like in sports, having good players is not enough to win a competition in business either. If we do not function as a team, if we do not understand each other and do not follow a well-defined strategy, excellent individual performance is useless. In the world of business, again, similarly to sports, it is the best team that wins, not the team consisting of the best players. |
GROW understands team building as a combination of two parallel development processes:
- The development of a team as an operating system, which means the design of the rules and goals of cooperation. It allows the establishment of aligned and synergic processes.
- The development of the team's functioning, which means the inspiration of the individual members and helping them realise the joy of shared experiences and mutual trust that forms the basis of efficient team work.
Team building may be needed in the case of setting up a new team or when the development or reorganisation of an existing team is required. According to our experience, in the latter case more is needed than shared experiences, goals and motivation. We have to know exactly which areas of the team's operation require change or refinement.
In order to develop team work in line with the actual needs and to provide real results, GROW established the Cooperative Teams Model that combines practical experience and research results.
This model serves as a basis for establishing a diagnosis in the course of our development programmes that are designed in line with the results of the situation assessment and the needs of the teams, and use indoor or outdoor solutions. Our training programmes are led by enthusiastic and well-prepared trainers.
