- "Fears and Limits" development program with Firewalking
According to David A. Kolb’s experimental learning theory, people may be classified into two large groups by learning-preference: doers and observers. It is now proven, that to the effect of passive television viewing, the majority of people today become passive recipients, mere “perceivers”. This tendency has a clear effect on corporate performance and efficiency. This no doubt needs to be altered and managed in time. According to a recent article in the Economist 2010 July, the syndrome called “presentism” - meaning the sheer unproductive attendance at any workplace -, a definite sign of burnout, costs more than a billion Euros in losses, for a company employing 2000 people or more. Following the principles laid out in our Music Development Program, we organize musical events that enable teams to experience the strength of collective power by playing music together as a team. Playing the drums together develop teams by using one of the earliest and easiest rhythm instrument. Setting common goals, keeping pace, paying attention to each other, creating harmony, being moderate is at the heart of the experience. By experiencing a real team-effort and true team-performance, participants develop a better understanding of social awareness, and team-play as a whole.
